North Vancouver

Welcome to North Vancouver

A family-friendly neighborhood close to the mountains

A thriving oasis just a short drive across the Lions Gate Bridge, North Vancouver has the luxury of maintaining close proximity to the bustle of downtown while also containing vast amounts of nature. Easy transportation like the Seabus at Lonsdale Quay makes the neighborhood very accessible. This hub of the North Shore truly has it all.

It was first formed around the industry of lumber mills and the shipyards that quickly followed. While the shipyards are no longer operational, many of their buildings on the waterfront have been transformed into trendy shops and eateries. The population has grown significantly since Lions Gate Bridge and Iron Workers Memorial Bridge opened access to the rest of Vancouver.

From luxury single-family homes to presale condos, North Vancouver has a wide variety of housing — making it easy to check off all the items on your dream home list. The newer developments closer to the waterfront will make you feel in the heart of it all or go out a little farther to feel connected to nature.

Along the waterfront, Lonsdale Quay Market brings together local vendors, international cuisine, and incredible art. For convenient shopping mixed with quirky boutiques, visit the Shipyards District, where you can pick up a bottle at the Artisan Wine Shop or shop for jewelry at Earth and Sol.
The shipyards district has delicious food with a view at Pier 7 (seafood) and Tap & Barrel (pub fare).
